ABOUT ME

Writer. Cook. Vermonter. I’m always on the hunt for my next favorite restaurant, bar, or story which I’m excited to share with you!

I grew up in the chilly Northeast where seafood is a staple and farm-to-table is a given. My passion for food began by watching my parents cook in the kitchen and then expanded even more as I joined the bustling restaurant industry.

When I’m not cooking at home or eating out, you can find me taking a run around Forsyth Park or heading out to Tybee for a day at the beach. Although learning about sharks, jellyfish, and riptides may have made me slightly more cautious, I’m still an ocean-lover at heart having grown up going to Maine often.

Food is a common ground where we can gather and share. Through food we can communicate with the chef, understand a culture, and discover something new about an ingredient. Eating is exciting. Eating is a journey.
